archive of Usenet messages dating back to 1981...one of the most complete.
They have a timeline you can view and read messages, like the first one
mentioning Microsoft, or the first review of an IBM PC. This link I'm
adding at the bottom is a neat one to read, it's from a hacker in Finland who's
name is Linus and he has a new operating system he's building. This is his
first announcement of it, and he's trying to recruit hackers to help him get it
up and running. One day this will be Linux as we know
