    The Linksys switches have an internal backplane speed of 2.7Gbps, which

is higher than the DLink switches' apparent speed of 1.6Gbps.  Linksys stuff

has always worked out for me, and they generally make a point of supporting

Linux with their  NICs.  Anyone have a preference for a brand of "less-expensive"

switches?<br>

If  your looking at performance stay away from the cheaper hardware. They

tend not  to handle high traffic very well. The setup in your jpeg is fine.

I think that  would probably be the best way to setup your switches. </font></span></div>
