I interpretated Warren's "give donations" comment to be targeted at end users and not businesses (but businesses could still pay Mandrake for the software and not the packaging).  He was saying that it is more profitable (profitable for mandrake) for someone to download the iso and burn their own CD and then pay (dontate) money to Mandrake.  That way Mandrake is not spending money on packaging for someone who doesn't want it or need it.
