I agree...one mailing list for all open source, unix, linux etc in Hawaii is all we need. If someone can think of a new name other than luau that is fine with me. Its also fine with me if it keeps being called luau! It is a useful mailing list....the name is unimportant. We don't need one list for Linux, and one list for Open Source, and one list for Unix, and one list for newbies, and one list for Gurus........ > > It sounds like some people just need to get over themselves. Splintering off into multiple groups is BAD!!!!! People see this childish infighting crap as a sign of weakness. Everyone is getting along just fine on this list. Warren has meetings that meet his agenda, Deven has meetings that meet his agenda, and anyone else can have meetings to meet their agenda, and we are all still one big happy family here on this list. Hell, I might have to start having meetings for Solaris or Irix users, but I would still use this list. > > I consider myself a member of Luau, not Aloha or MPLUG, but I attend Warren and Devens meetings and support both of them as much as possible. > > Dusty > > > > I have previously suggested and I suggest again, Please leave LUAU, > > the LUAU site, and the LUAU mailing list alone.
