basics of how mail services work on the Internet, discussing the protocols
involved, DNS MX, MTA, MUA, POP3, IMAP4, web based e-mail and an overview of
several of the common Unix mail server software packages. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana size=3>Ho'ala Greevy will be demonstrating installation
and configuration of the high performance, secure qmail Unix e-mail
server. Ho'ala is a former engineer of <B><A href="http://www.cp.net/"
target=_blank>Critical Path</A>, </B>where he maintained millions of mail boxes
using the qmail mail transport agent.</FONT></P>
