Registered DDR RAM modules...including ECC....hey..i'm sorry....but it's

for mid-August....here's a quote from X-bit Labs:

We received a word about a new AMD 760MP based
dual-processor Socket A mainboard from TYAN, Tiger MP (S2460), which is
to start shipping in mid-August. Let us remind you that Tiger MP will be
the third Dual Athlon mainboard from TYAN. It is supposed to become the
most attractive member of the family thanks to its comparatively low
price. Tiger MP is equipped with no SCSI or LAN controllers as well as
graphics adapter, so it should be pricing at about $250. At this price
you can order this mainboard in advance at the on-line shop
ENPC.COM.
While the other mainboard makers break their heads over the
difficulties of Dual Athlon boards creation, TYAN remains the only
provider of such solutions.
The future buyers of Tiger MP (S2460)
will be glad to know that unlike its predecessors, this mainboard won't
require special 460W power supply units with an elaborate power
outs.
