I used to have VMware on my laptop (500mhz with 192mb ram) and it was still very slugish. I will definatly try vmware, but I don't know if it will work. The systems that we will be using are (or will be when they arrive) Celeron 766mhz with 256mb EDO ram, 80GB ata100, Promise controlers, and Matrox video cards. We are upgrading our three dual PPro 200 to celeron 766 to start working with video. We have been doing things with the dual PPros, but some things are not working right, so we are updating the systems and actually buying the Adobe Video Editing Suite. I am thinking about trying to run my Adobe stuff in one of these. Win4lin says it supports Photoshop, so I am hoping that it will work with After Effects and Premiere. I have never had any luck getting anything to run under wine, so I am not to confident in that. VMware is not an option, because it is just too slow. > > > > Dusty > > > > --- > > You are currently subscribed to luau as: jeffm@lava.net > > To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub') > > > > > --- > You are currently subscribed to luau as: dusty@sandust.com > To unsubscribe send a blank email to $subst('Email.Unsub')
