You guys should check out the lates Pacific Business News.  There is an article about professionals moving back to Hawaii (Like Sandi and I just did).  One of the people they interviewed was Hoala Greevy.  He has recently started a consulting company here to promote to open-source.  He was the the MPLUG meeting last night.  Maybe with a little work we can make Hawaii a better place for technology and in the process help people realize you don't have to pay through the nose to get quality (which most businesses in Hawaii can't afford to do, so the go without).
