  I was wondering how much of your work you have documented?  Have you draw up a proposed system architecture?  Have you show same cost comparisons between a 15 system lab, 23 system lab, or 31 system lab for Linux versus Windows.  I would think the cost would be different for each and one might be better than the other.  If you need any help putting documentation together let me know.  having that type of information already compiled would really help get those grants.  The most important figure will be maintenance over the long haul.  I have played with some numbers and if a school has to buy all new hardware (thin clients, switch, raid, server) the cost savings of Linux is there but not as great as if the school get all donated systems.  DOE will be most concerned with long term maintenance.

Hey Devin,  has anyone contacted you about organizing a Linux support group here that you talked about the other night?  I would like to be a part of that!  Having that organization would really help Warren's cause, not to mention other Linux users.
