I haven't really looked at OpenOffice yet.  Did they make it so you can open just the word processor or just the spreadsheet or does it still have it's own desktop thingy like StarOffice?  That is my main complaint about StarOffice, you have to open their whole damn desktop thing and it takes way too many resources.
