Seems to me there should be a backup-HOWTO, but my interests (single
workstation, system recovery, not concerned with incremental backups, etc.)
would be more appropriate for a mini-HOWTO. Or would system-recovery-HOWTO
be a better name? That's really what I want.

Here are a few links I found along the way that may be useful.

I saw a HOWTO or mini-HOWTO some time ago about rolling your own
distribution which might have useful information, but can't find it now.

Any other suggestions at this point? Seems most unlikely that something
along these lines hasn't been written down already. Season's Greetings ...
