fine and Sendmail is running. But, I can't send. So, maybe SMTP
might not be working properly. But, it has worked fine in the past.

It has been working fine until yesterday. My root mail account file had
become too large to deal with and I was unable to open it. So, I deleted
the file and created a new empty one. Ever since then, I have had the
above problem.

Of course if they are all different domains I'd check your dns setup, if
they are all going to the same domain check the dns for that one domain or
see if the host itself is up:

telnet host.domain.com 25

Sounds like a dns problem (mx or otherwise). Is all the mail going to the
same domain?

Subject: [luau] sendmail question

I am using send mail on Turbo Linux and am having some trouble getting it to
deliver some messages. Webmin shows that I have about 1500k worth of
messages in the queue ready to go but their status is listed as deferred. I
tried to flush the mqueue dir with both webmin and sendmail -v -q but i only
get back and error reading, "Transient Parse Error - message queued for
future delivery". Any ideas on how I can force deliver these messages?

Thanks,

rodney
