OK, now there's free as in speech and free as in beer.

Speech, not being a physical entity can be free.  Forever... 
(Given the right software licence).

Beer being a physical entity is a finite resource.  It can never
truly be 'Free'.  Free beer can always go away.

A Linux distribution can be free software.  The means to put it
into a computer can never be free.  Because physical resources
are not free.

Really, it's not fair to change your argument and say that Free
wireless must also mean that it costs the provider nothing. 
It's not really an argument or a point.  It's a tautology. 
Because even one bit of data travelling across the internet
costs something.
