count me as one who avoids webmin and uses vi/vim. 

yes, exim has done rather decent.  except for a spat of advisories from 
different os vendors this month, I only remember a couple of advisories each 
of the last two years. i still prefer a qmail/procmail combination on a mail 
server/filter.

no matter the software that one chooses, one must be prepared to patch. with 
priority to systems in a DMZ.

these remarks bring to light the reason why "most of the community" prefer one 
flavor of linux or one application over another. choice. it's all about 
choice.
