I just read an interesting article on The Register on how PeopleSoft blocked
Oracles hostile takeover, for now.  PeopleSoft started offering insurance to
their customers.  The insurance would pay the customer a refund of 2-5 times
the original price of the software in the event PeopleSoft is bought out.
