My most recent installations of debian have been from the mini-iso's

These are probably more complete with some modules that may address your nic.
If you want the full version, you may have seen these options for 
obtaining/creating cd's.

I liked jigdo the one time I tried it.  The mini-iso has been good to me 
though, on an ibook and i386 installation.  My last full cd is the potato 
release, so it probably is not what you are looking for.  If you get tired of 
downloading, I'll be happy to burn one of these minis for you if we can work 
out the exchange logistics.

I believe that in the near future you will be able to obtain Debian from our 
local mirror soon to be hosted by the most gracious folks at Oceanic.  Others 
know more of this than I.
