Hi Wayne,

I have had no success in installing CDRW on Linux. 


 I installed a Sony IDE CDrom on A FreeBSD box and it worked the first
try for Audio and Data. You might want to consider building up a FreeBSD
box if you want a solid CDRW for doing a lot of copies.
