I, for one wouldn't put anything on an E-Machine.  You would have to pay me
a tremendous sum plus give me your first born son to get me to even look at
one...I.E.  They suck bad

Aloha,

I was looking at Wal-mart today for one of those $400 OS-less PCs and they
do not carry them in the store.  So I went to www.walmart.com to order one
and see how much the shipping was and they will NOT ship to Hawaii!!!  That
sucks!!  Has anyone tries putting Linux on one of the Emachines they sell
at Costco?  I recall seeing a 900Mhz Celeron with 15" monitor for like $500.
