These packages are built for i686 Red Hat 7.2 with the latest
updates as of 3/7/202.

They are built from Mandrake Cooker's OpenSSH 3.1pl1-1mdk.src.rpm
with a few quick hacks to make it build and install on Red Hat 7.2 systems.

I tested it only twice, so use at your own risk. I built these packages
for myself to secure all of my servers until Red Hat releases an official
openssh update.

The source RPM package will probably build without any problems on
Red Hat 7.0 and 7.1 too. You can test it with:

        rpm --rebuild openssh-3.1p1-1mdk.src.rpm

If the build is successful the binary RPMs will end up in

        /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386/

You can change the target arch like this.

        rpm --rebuild --target i686 openssh-3.1p1-1mdk.src.rpm

KNOWN BUG:
update-alternatives attempts to run in the %post script of the two
askpass packages. This does not exist in Red Hat, but I don't think
this breaks anything. Not exactly sure though. Anyone know what
Mandrake's update-alternatives does?

Can anyone fix up this SRPM to compile and install more cleanly on
Red Hat 7.2? If so please e-mail me with URL to updated SRPM.
