Ok Charles you write your letter to him and do a better job.

I said what I think.

I did use the phrase buy a clue but did not tell *him* to buy a clue. That
should have been clear in my post to the list. If not well...sorry.

I never used the other quoted phrase. Perhaps you are seeing a post I
haven't and are not responding to mine???

On a list if you're going to flame, at least flame discriminately.

And speaking of self-rightous and snippy, well yes it is counter-productive
as you've just demonstrated.

John

BTW my point to Burt *was* to write a longer article and cover the wealth of
browsers we can use if we only are told they are available.

Just because the guys opinions aren't the same as yours just means that his
opinions aren't the same as yours. His being wrong on this issue (and yes,
he is wrong) doesn't make him clueless or a jerk, and getting self-righteous
and snippy is counter-productive. Better to say that yeah, there was a time
when Netscape was the lead browser, but then IE kicked its butt, but that in
reality there are better alternatives to both.

As a side question, maybe my browser isn't showing me the whole thing, but
doesn't the article seem awfully short and nearly pointless? Is this really
the last line: "It's amazing how it is still a one-browser world. Or is it?
 ;-)?"
