At this seminar Warren Togami will be talking about the capabilities of
many of the following Open Source server applications that can run on
the Linux platform. While this seminar is specifically about Linux
servers, this knowledge also applies to BSD and MacOS X servers.

#Overview of the following services

#* Samba Windows file and domain controller

#* Apache web server, scripting web applications with PHP or perl
#* Databases - MySQL and PostgreSQL
#* FTP server (anonymous)
#* SSH, SFTP, SCP encrypted shell and file transfer

#** SMTP, POP3, IMAP
#** Spam filtering, virus protection
#** Web based e-mail interface, Groupware
