[luau] apt-get

Thanks Warren.

I was finally able to get it working, though I'm not sure I can
replicate the setup on another system.

First I tried installing unixODBC from unixODBC.org and that's when I
was running into problems. However the Easysoft(easysoft.org) Oracle
driver comes with unixODBC, that seemed to work fine. I would still love
to find a free(as in cost) Oracle ODBC driver for Linux if
possible(easysoft charges money). Does anybody know where to look?

APT-RPM for Red Hat repository

APT-RPM is unsupported when used with Red Hat, but I heard it works
well.
APT-RPM is used natively for the Conectiva Linux distribution from
Brazil.

Two things...

1) Where did you get that unixODBC package? Is it an official Red Hat
package or add-on? Please provide URL's so I can check it out.
2) Red Hat itself has an apt-get like tool that handles automatic
dependency
resolution called up2date. You must register to RHN in order to use it.
Anyone can create a RHN account and have free update access for one
computer. After you are registered you can install packages like in
this
example.

[root at computer root]# rpm -qi nmap-frontend
package nmap-frontend is not installed
[root at computer root]# up2date nmap-frontend
