I just found this article from September 2001 that
talks about how easy it is to find and break into 802.11b wireless networks
using AirSnort and NetStumbler.

Looks like I need a Prism2 based card to do security testing at work,
because my Orinoco cards wont work for AirSnort, although Orinoco will work
for NetStumbler.  I see that the SMC2632W card at CompUSA is Prism2 based so
that'll work.

Anyone know the performance or signal difference between Orinoco and this
SMC card in normal operation?
