dual boot problem

Hi everyone,  I recently installed mandrake 8.1 (it was a breeze) on the
second harddrive of my desktop.  The first few weeks when I booted up the
machine, the mandrake bootloader (i think that is what its called) gave me
the option of loading into linux or windows (and a few others options).  I
just  noticed that a few weeks ago it started to boot into windows
automatically.

What evil is this that has been brought upon my machine?  any ideas on how
to vanquish this demon?
