Aloha all,
I just got off the phone with DOE. They would like to see what can be
done with setting up a server to server vpn running 24x7 to the school
using OpenSource PPTP VPN. I am researching on setting up a VPN Server
on Voyager School's side that will have a 24x7 PPTP VPN to DOE. Any
Help on this would be fantastic. Voyager, being a Public Charter, does
not have a very big budget. I think, if we can prove to the school that
linux is the way to go, I think we could cut the whole school over to
linux. I need to prove this not only to the teachers and Principal, but
also to key people in DOE.
Thanks,
Brian

Subject: [luau] School needs a Network PPTP server
Aloha all,
I have been working with DOE and Voyager- A Public Charter School.
DOE is requiring the school to setup a client to Server VPN with the DOE
network. They currently have a DSL link into the school. They would be
using the DSL for the VPN (PPTP)connection. I was wondering if there is
a VPN Server for outgoing traffic from the internal network that can
route between the VPN side of the network and the internet. I do have a
specific IP which is where the PPTP must connect to. Any help would be
great.
Thanks,
Brian
