two e-mail clients in Linux are Evolution and KMail.  I highly recommend
using IMAP with either client if possible because then your e-mail will be
the same as your Outlook.  Evolution too works a lot like Outlook.

Later on we can help you setup an LDAP server, so your address book can be
shared between Outlook and Evolution.

Exchange uses both IMAP and POP if set up for it.  Netscape works pretty
well.  If you mean is there an Outlook work alike, not to the best of my
knowledge.
