I believe you can rsync it, yes.

All I normally use are the ISOs, though especially because of the way 
slackware splits it up (with the disk sets) the full distribution can be 
really handy if you're on a slower link (for example, you can just 
download the basic install).

You probably don't need the extra packages since no one I know uses them 
(and linuxpackages.org has more up to date ones often anyway that what 
are distributed since slack doesn't release very often) nor do most 
people care about the source code ISO.
