According to a news report from Taiwan,
http://content.sina.com/news/92/14/921420_1_b5gif.html
the largest supermarket chain in Taiwan with more than 5,300 stores is
planning to switch to Linux POS next year. This will bring more than
NT$500 million (about $15 million US Dollars) of business opportunities
to local Linux vendors. It is expected that this will induce other
supermarkets to move into the s
Linux camp.
Worldwide, the report said, it is expected that over 20% of the POS
market will switch to Linux next year.
