problems with Solaris download files

I downloaded Free Solaris 8 for SPARC from SUN.
The iso images are stored in 3 zip files.  I have only been successful in
extracting one of them.
I have tried various decompression utilities (winzip, pkzip, gzip, etc.) and
none of them worked.
There is nothing in the SUN FAQs about this.

Has anyone experienced/solved this problem?
