Post questions here too. I have been using postgresql for almost a year to
store multi-lingual data and act as backend for J2EE apps. I may be able to
help a little.
My personal favorite thing about Postgresql is it can easily default to
UTF-8 tables. "initdb -E UNICODE" - try it, it's fun and easy!
