(3) INTERACTIVE DIGITAL DEVICE, -- The term "interactive digital
device" means any machine, device, product, software, or technology,
whether not included with or as part of some other machine, device,
product, software, or technology, that is designed, marketed or used
for the primary purpose of, and that is capable of, storing,
retrieving, processing, performing, transmitting, receiving, or
copying information in digital form.

So this would include digital phones (VoIP, cordless,
cellular/pcs/etc), fax machines (maybe?), computers, A/V
recorders/transmitters/players, video cameras, digital still cameras,
netbsd boxes running on toasters, my IP-capable refrigerator (heh.. you
laugh but there are some..), pagers, digital radios, PDAs, watches
barcode scanners, calculators, digital answering machines, softare, ATM
machines, home-security systems, remote keyless entry systems,
gaming consoles, televisions, electronic locks, electronic scales,
electronic weather equipment.. heck.. just about anything that's
main purpose is 'doing stuff' with information in digital form,

Hmmm, electronic fuel injection systems? :)
Hey.. we must protect them, else someone might integrate them into
their onboard mp3 player.

If this thing passes, There's an excellent chance I will move to
Canada, Australia, or .. somewhere... else? :)

Seriously folks, this thing is *scary*, of course it will do nothing
against real piracy, just hurt consumers, yadda yadda.. </soapbox>

IANAL
