You should probally input your Static IP & DNS into your network
configuration menu. Because DHCP, dynamically gettings all that information
from your ISP. By going with a Static IP you need to input it manually. :)

Hi, i was wondering if i am supposed to configure this script a certain
way when i am using a static ip.  Originally i was using DHCP when i was
connecting to the internet and everything was ok but now that im using a
static ip i can seem to connect.  I noticed that when i try to ping the
dns i get "destination host unreachable".  any help would be much
appreciated.
