I am having problems with my sound in RH7.1. I think the problem is with /dev/dsp because whenever I try to play a sound file through this device, the sound is garbled..but when I start up xmms and close xmms, and play the same file through /dev/dsp, it works the first time, then gets all garbled up again until xmms is active again. Any suggestions? Rodney
