BCAST, GIMP, BLENDER

I've also put in a lot of time with Blender, but would like to see what 
others are doing, specifically, things like lighting and the use of the 
new post-production rendering settings for achieving the best 
photorealism, and radiosity with large scenes.

I also make extensive use of gimp, and feel much more comfortable with 
it than Photoshop.  Again, seeing what others do with it would be 
interesting.
