Hi All,

The next ALOHA meeting is a week away!! Next Thursday @ 6PM. 1100
Alakea St. downtown. Street parking is free after 5:30PM. We will all
meet at the front of the building. Warren Togami has agreed to talk
about the Linux Terminal Server Project!!! This should be pretty cool!!

Also, Next Friday @ the Hale Koa hotel, the ISSA (Information Systems
Security Assoc.) luncheon will be held from 11:30AM until 1PM. The topic
this month is Linux Security. The presenter will be yours truly. The
luncheon is $25 dollars for non-members and includes a fully catered
lunch. Members of the ISSA only pay $20 and recieve other benefits. If
you would like to join the ISSA, please contact Steve Gose
(sgose at queens.org). The ISSA meets monthly (Third Friday of each month)
for a luncheon and presentation. There is also an annual "Discover
Security" conference that members can go to for a reduced cost. In April
next year, the ISAA will also be trying to host the CISSP training and
certification. ISSA memebers can take the training and test at $1500
dollars less than the normal price.

Hope to see you all at the meeting next Thursday!!
