Installing and booting a DOS partition on a LINUX box

I have added a new 30 gig drive /dev/hdd to my Suse 6.2 2.2.16 box.  I
partitioned the drive with a 256MB /dev/hdd1 partition (and many others of
course) and would like to install DOS 6.2 onto it.  And then add DOS to my lilo
config.

Has anyone any experience in this?  I'd appreciate any advice or "gotchas" that
might come up.
