This is a more advanced Linux seminar going in depth in services involved in Linux firewalls and related network security tools.  Topics to be covered include:

Linux Firewalls:
    - Netfilter and rpfilter and kernel configuration
    - Basic iptables syntax
    - Mon Motha's iptables script
    - ipmenu (awesome configuration tool)
    - Squid (http proxy cache and content filter)
    - MRTG (bandwidth graphing)

Linux System Security:
    - logcheck and luser (syslog e-mail tool)
    - Portsentry (sniff detection)
    - Hostsentry (instruction detection)

Linux Network Security:
    - Antisniff (sniffer detection)
    - Nessus (exploit scanner)
    - SAINT (exploit scanner)
    - Snort (network intrusion detection system)
    - NMAP (port scanner)
    - ntop (network monitoring)
