Thanks,

I picked up a book from Borders today called "Red Hat Linux 6 Server" by Mohammed Kabir. Cost me $39.95 but I think it will pay itself off as i use it. I checked Amazon's reviews and this book got 5-stars. Looks good, I'll probably read it from end to end. Straight forward and easy to grasp information.

Interesting, the authur says Redhat is the best because Linus Torvalds uses it. Cool!

  Kevin-

I found "Linux network servers 24/7" very helpful. A book, not a website, sorry.

Its by Craig Hunt, $34.99, Sybex Press. Borders probably has it and 5 other titles like it. For my 2 cents, I also recommend you find a book that will age well- be a good intro but also a decent reference book in six months.

    Hi Group!

I have some questions about installing and running a web server with redhat linux. I know redhat 7 has a server install, but is it for a web server or file server? What do I do after I install it? Anyone know of a web site that can help me? I mean I need a site that has a first time person in mind.

    Thank you,

    Kevin
