ESR: Why Microsoft Smears-and Fears-Open Source

An excellent opinion piece by Eric S. Raymond, one of the leading proponents
of Open Source.  He explains why Microsoft is deathly afraid, currently
engaged in a propoganda war against Open Source, and why it is crucial that
we win this battle.  As he puts it, "Will computer users control the
software they run, or be controlled themselves?"
