You can also run Mindterm as a local application on Linux, Windows, Mac or
Solaris.

Simply install a JRE, then you can run the .JAR file within the zip file of
the Mindterm download.

Sun JRE for Windows, Linux and Solaris
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/jre/

Then unzip this file
http://www.appgate.com/products/mindterm/personal/mindterm_2.0-bin.zip
http://www.appgate.com/products/mindterm/personal/mindterm_downloads.html

Run mindterm.jar, and you got yourself a local SSH client application with
more features than most other SSH clients.

> Actually it is an entire ssh client written in java. You download the
client and run it via the JVM in your browser and then it will establish an
ssh connection from your local machine to any other machine on the internet.
It defaults to the machine you downloaded the client from, but you can
backspace and type in your new location. It still uses port 22. It even
supports tunneling and x11 forwarding.
