The momentum now is running Linux servers serving Windows 9X on
Samba. Forget Windows 2000 or Windows XP as servers. Linux on
the
server side is already solid and fully functional. Besides,
administration
of Linux servers are not that hard (don't believe the MS
FUD).

In the next two years, the gap between Windows and Linux (KDE
and
GNOME) will no longer exist on the desktop in terms of ease
of use.

Therefore, folks, now is the time to prepare ourselves to be
on the Linux
bandwagon. Now is the time to build more applications for
Linux. No
           looking back.

With Linux, it will be a fair game for all. The Linux OS is
open-source.
You will not have to worry about depending on Bill Gates and
Microsoft
for unreliable information for hooking up your applications
to a closed
           proprietory operating system.
