Hi,

Oceanic is having various problems with the cables and
switches. Our server guru has been in touch and part of the
difficulties involve the mainland. Oceanic thinks issues
will be resolved by Friday. Some involve taking back IP
address that were previously allocated.

The new trans pacific cable Southern Cross (SanDiego to
Honolulu) is undergiong tests and should be up in November.
This we are told may help to clear up some of the problems
we experience here.
