What tool do you use to measure amps in an AC current?  Where do we use this
tool to measure this?

know UPS software like powerchute will trigger a system shutdown when
utility power is lost.  Check out the power demand specs on the CPU.  My
guess it's not over 30 W.  What other power hungry devices might you have on
your system....One way to know for sure is to just measure the amps on the
120 VAC side and multiply by 120 to get the Watts.
