Brian,

I've installed both SuSe 6.0 and Caldera 2.2 on a pretty generic laptop -
k6 300, 32mb ram Neomagic video, pcmcia ether and modem - without any real
difficulty.  SuSe did a better job with the video using their SAX program
than Caldera 2.2.  Caldera did a better job picking up the pcmcia cards.  In
both cases it was a pretty uneventful install.
