IP Masq requirements:

1. IP Masquerade kernel options compiled. 
2. Loadable kernel modules.
3. A well set up TCP/IP network.
4. Connectivity to Internet for your Linux host.
5. Ipfwadm 2.3 or newer available from:

ftp://ftp.xos.nl/pub/linux/ipfwadm/ipfwadm-2.3.0-1.i386.rpm

ftp://ftp.xos.nl/pub/linux/ipfwadm/ipfwadm-2.3.0.tar.gz 

   
You should read about the security implications
of ipfwadm, but these are the ipfwadm commands
added to my rc.local:

echo "IPFWADM"
/sbin/depmod -a
/sbin/modprobe ip_masq_ftp.o
/sbin/modprobe ip_masq_raudio.o
/sbin/modprobe ip_irc.o
ipfwadm -F -p deny
ipfwadm -F -a m -S 192.168.1.0/24 -D 0.0.0.0/0


I set up the network in linuxconf.
Config eth0 and eth1, routing enabled for the 
gateway machine, and put the gateway machine's 
ip as the gateway for the masq machine.

It also has instructions for IP Chains that is used with
the 2.2.X Kernels.
