You have named (also known as BIND) running on your system. Don't have my
O'Reilly book with me here at home, but this looks like the standard
statistics dump that the program does periodically. I'd probably be able to
tell more about it if you shared the file /etc/named.boot with us. It
should be a short one. I'll also check my book next time I'm in the office.

Now that I'm fully back on track with Linux (thank you Matrox

took a trip to /var/log/messages and didn't find anything out of the
ordinary until I got to the last quarter of the file, where I found

following few lines repeated several times. Here are the lines:
