[LUAU] Upgrading to XFree86 3.3.3 on RedHat 5.1

I need to upgrade to XFree86 3.3.3 because I have an NVidia Riva TNT
video card which is not supported under version 3.3.2 of XFree86 (unless
I use VGA16 -!!ugh!! :?( ).

How should I upgrade?
Should I install using RPM  (XFree86-3.3.3-1.i386.rpm)?  Is that the
only file I need?

Should I install using the .tgz'd files?
Which binary directory do I choose ( Linux-ix86-glibc/ or 
Linux-ix86-libc5/ )
