[LUAU] TCP/IP WANs

Thanks for all the good info. Just to clarify, the link would be
between an Ala Moana office and a Pearl City Office, both buildings
which have cable TV and also digital phone service (whatever that
means). I've had about 100% uptime with my roadrunenr since I got it in
June, so I'm pretty convinved of its reliability and bandwidth. But in
this case ASDL does sound like a better solution, and I'll look into
that with the phone company. Also 56K is more than enough bandwidth, at
least that's what the software vendor says. I think i'd go with Frame
for sheer reliability but the idea of purchasing two cisco routers isn't
too appealing.

The other thing is, both sites are currently equiped with ISDN lines for
the purpose of a 24/7 credit card authorization system. I've heard bad
things about WAN over ISDN, and i wouldn't know where to begin setting
up ISDN, so I figure this isn't a viable solution...am I wrong?

Anyway, i'll let you know what happens. thanks for the input.

scott
