[LUAU] rrsmpcd 0.12 released

Let me rephrase what you have below so I can check that its correct. After
you run everything, TCP/IP works because you can ping around anywhere. Name
resolution works because you can ping using the names. No applications will
make a connection including netscape, ftp, and telnet.

If this is correct, you aren't logged into Road Runner. One more test, try
to ftp to
update-server. You can do an anonymous login like this:

[dougs at mybox dougs]$ ftp update-server
Connected to sms1.hawaii.rr.com.
220 sms1 Microsoft FTP Service (Version 3.0).
User (sms1.hawaii.rr.com:(none)): ftp
331 Anonymous access allowed, send identity (e-mail name) as password.
Password: dougs at oceanic.com [It would be nice if you use your own email]
230-
 Authorized users only.
You must be assigned an account on this
computer to access information as defined
 by the system administrators. Your
 activities may be monitored.
230 Anonymous user logged in.
ftp> quit
221

If this works it confirms that you haven't been logged in correctly. The
obvious things to check are userid and password, but further troubleshooting
looks necessary.
