Since I'm using the same inetd.conf as before,
here's what I've got:

ftp     stream  tcp     nowait  root    /usr/sbin/tcpd 
in.ftpd -l -a
telnet  stream  tcp     nowait  root    /usr/sbin/tcpd 
in.telnetd

No.

Since I reinstalled the OS with different settings, 
I don't know if these were running before.  Looking 
at the sysv init scripts, it looks like I was running
named, but not mountd.
